Linda Dwan started Kindergarten with me at Gard School, I always liked her. She was so nice and friendly, I was so sad to hear of her passing. I think of her often. She died way too young! The kids in my kindergarten class besides myself and Linda were Joan Pfauth, Tammy Hatch, ? Hetting, Sandy Hunt, ?Ed Yetske, ? Testini, Sheryl Bynfore, Elieen ?, and Micheal Hanley.
The oversized, 60 something, yellow Cadillac convertable, top down, Linda at the wheel, Joanie and Karla at her side. Three vibrant young women motoring around town on any given “St Joe” summer day. How could one resist stopping to behold that memorable scene. To be a witness to that image always made me smile. The memory makes me smile now. That is how I remember Linda. That is how I will always remember her.
Of coarse she was more than that, much more, to me, she was a friend. It saddens me to know I will never again have the opportunity to talk with her. May you be in peace my friend.
