The oversized, 60 something, yellow Cadillac convertable, top down, Linda at the wheel, Joanie and Karla at her side. Three vibrant young women motoring around town on any given "St Joseph" summer day. How could one resist stopping to behold that memorable scene. To be a witness to that image always made me smile. The memory makes me smile now.That is how I remember Linda. That is how I will always remember her.
Of coarse she was more than that, much more, to me, she was a friend. It saddens me to know I will never again have the oppertunity to talk with her. May you be in peace my friend.
Kay was genuinely the kindest person I have ever known. Her smile said it all. It reached you before she did. You could feel it before you saw it....authentic. I am privileged to call her my friend. I will miss her.
